This week saw Motorpoint-Marshalls Pasta visiting Southport and Kettering for rounds 5 and 6 of the Tour Series.
Alexandre Blain and his Endura Racing team came out on top in Southport on Tuesday night. However the team was placed 3rd, with Andy Tennant highest in the individual pacings at 5th, and that was enough for them to retain a lead of 4 points going into Thursday's round in Kettering.
It was a similar story last night in Kettering where Kristian House and his Rapha team mates made a clean sweep of it, taking individual victory and the team prize. Marshalls were second on the night, keeping them at the top of the table , and with only 3 points separating Motorpoint-Marshalls Pasta, Rapha Condor Sharp and Endura Racing, things are going to get exciting!
The Tour Series now moves on to Peterborough for Round 7 next Tuesday night.
Remember to tune into ITV4 on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7pm for the highlights shows.
This Sunday sees the team heading to the north east for the Beaumont Trophy. The 2009 event was won by Bradley Wiggins, then of Garmin Slipstream, and this year's event sees the Marshalls boys face a strong field of 138 riders.
Another weekend of appalling weather saw Endura's Rob Partridge win the Ryedale GP. The race started with the drizzle already falling and the weather got worse as the day went on, making life difficult for the riders as they rolled out of Duncombe Park with 120 miles ahead of them. Andrew Tennant was the first Marshalls rider to finish, just missing a podium spot with 4th position.
