BUPA Great North Run 2010
Marshalls Pasta was, for the second year running, the proud sponsor of the 2010 Great North Run Pasta Party.
This hugely popular event was given its very own marquee this year the and ran for two days prior to the Great North Run on Sunday 19th September. A couple of very tasty Marshalls Macaroni dishes were served up to well over 15,000 hungry runners and their families, under almost blue skies in Gateshead.
The marquee was well dressed in Marshalls pasta branding and bespoke bins as everyone attending the Marshalls Pasta Party was asked - "Would you buy Marshalls Pasta if it were made available at your local supermarket?" - looking at the rubbish bins it was a clear favorite for it to be stocked!
Music at the Marshalls Pasta Party was provided by Antony Audenshaw, who plays Robert 'Bob' Hope in the popular soap Emmerdale. He and his excellent band entertained the pasta party crowds with very energetic performances.
