The start/finish line

Edinburgh played host to a night of superb closed road racing, with the Edinburgh Nocturne sponsored by Marshalls Pasta. In the elite race, Joshus Edmondson of Motorpoint Marshalls Pasta recorded a 7th place finish. The elite winner, in an aggressive and attacking race, was Kristian House of Rapha Condor Sharp.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Marshalls Pasta Folding Bike Race and as usual the race proved to be one of the biggest crowd pleasers with riders decked out in office attire, some even in kilts, all battling it out to win the race amidst a good bit of deafening board banging around the course.

Gavin Kerr, who won entry to the Folding Bike Race in a Marshalls Pasta competition finished a very respectable 9th and after a frantic race lasting 3 laps, Karl Jermyn (who completed the race too), Financial Director of Marshalls Pasta presented the winner, Scottish sprinter Bruce Croall, with his champagne and Dahon bike prize, after he turned on the style and won the race by a margin.

The very popular "Guess the Number of Marshalls Pasta Pots" in the Marshalls Pasta Team Car boot was won by Ron Urquhart of Edinburgh who correctly guessed 600 pots and wins a 'Motorpoint-Marshalls Pasta' team jersey!
