Pasta Pedal Power

30th May saw Edinburgh city centre host the first of a three event Nocturne series, a fast and furious circuit cycling event co sponsored by Marshalls Pasta.

Winding through the Grassmarket area of the city and overseen by the Castle, the riders faced the ultimate challenge of steep climbs, cobbled stones and tight bends cheered on by the thousands of spectators that had gathered to cheer the riders on.

The event featured the very best of British cycling with world, Olympic and British champions all battling for first place. Leading the field home Scotland's own David Millar, of Tour de France fame, with our very own Russ Downing, Graham Briggs and Malcolm Elliott of CandiTV-Marshalls Pasta close behind in 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.

The event was supported by Marshalls and riders and spectators alike were provided with all the necessary pedal power from our famous Pasta range.
