News Article - The Grocer
For the first time ever, Marshalls Pasta is on TV in Scotland from April 13. The brand’s sponsorship of food travelogue programme ‘The Woman Who Ate Scotland’ features two interactive advertisements. One features a woman and the other a man, both on bicycles as they enjoy various Marshalls Pasta dishes, while stopping for a rest at beautiful locations - including Loch Lomond and Tyndrum.
The cyclists are viewed eating Marshalls Pasta formed into the shape of a map of Scotland, while a voiceover says; ‘Marshalls Pasta, Scotland’s pedal power on a plate’.
‘The Woman Who Ate Scotland’ follows Scottish celebrity food critic, Nell Nelson, as she cycles her way round Scotland sampling and cooking some of the country’s finest fare. The programme will be trailed on STV and Grampian before the series starts and the ads will be the first interactive and only pasta advertising on Scottish terrestrial television.
