Marshalls Announce Major Sponsorship

Marshalls Pasta is very proud to announce its 2009 sponsorship of the UK's premier cycle road racing team, Pinarello RT.

For the 2009 season the team name will become 'CandiTV Marshalls Pasta'.

Pinarello RT is a well established professional road racing team featuring some of the UK's top riders, including Malcolm Elliott, Russell Downing and Graham Briggs.

Phil Griffiths, Pinarello RT, Team Owner / Manager, who cycled for Great Britain in the 1972 and 1976 Olympics, commented; "We are really excited about teaming up with Marshalls Pasta. Everybody knows that pasta and cycling is the perfect match - it's a marriage made in heaven."

Marshalls Pasta will be giving Pinarello RT all the support they need throughout 2009, not forgetting of course that all-important pasta!
