Clancy wins gold for team GB

It was a great weekend for Motorpoint-Marshalls Pasta rider Ed Clancy; winning gold in the men's omnium event at the world track championships in Copenhagen.
Ed won the 200 metre time trial - unbelievably, his first ever flying 200 metre effort. Securing 13th in the scratch race, 4th in the individual pursuit, a good 5th place in the points race, and a great time of 1-02 in the 1,000 metre time trial was enough to seal the gold medal.
